THE CLIMBING POTS HAVE ARRIVED!!
It was during the night of December 11-12, 1602, that the Savoyards attempted to storm the city of Geneva. The story goes that a cook, named "Mother Kingdom," threw her pot of soup over their heads. This act of patriotic heroism is still commemorated today by the creation of chocolate pots filled with marzipan vegetables.
Tradition dictates that before breaking the pot, the youngest and oldest of the tasters join their hands above the pot in order to break it together, of course without forgetting to pronounce at the same time this famous phrase: "Thus perish the enemies of the Republic!"
